What this site is
Pharmacy PT-141 is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on PT-141 (bremelanotide). We read the published trials, the mechanistic studies, the independent reviews, and the FDA prescribing information, and we restate what they actually found in plain English, with every quantitative claim cited to its source.
What this site is not

How we handle the regulatory line
PT-141 is unusual: it is both a real FDA-approved prescription drug (bremelanotide, for premenopausal HSDD) and a powder sold separately as an unregulated research chemical. We keep those two things apart on every page. We label the single approved indication as approved, every other use as off-label or investigational, and the research-chemical form as outside the approval framework with no oversight of identity or purity.
